Went here to celebrate midsommar and we loved in one of their normal rooms. A perfect location close to the church and the Unesco world heritage farmhouse. The room was very nice with plenty of place and the interior was nicely decorated to represent the local culture. There were also a breakfast included which was very tasty and the staff working here really liked their job so we had a great stay here. The best place I've been to in JärvsöBeautifully placed near the bridge and river, good breakfast and a very nice and fresh room. The hotel has kept the traditional charm. Close walking distance to Stenegård with a nice flower- and herb garden.

Attempting to divide a lengthy drive from Stockholm to Åre into two parts it was based on good word of mouth that a night was booked at Brostugans Bed & Breakfast in Järvsö, early summer still finding both the hotel and surrounding area quiet with a room for two actually the only one occupied on the day of arrival.||||Independently owned and operated, a nightly cost of around 875 SEK including accomodations and Breakfast for two, it was after a pleasant night's sleep and long jog around the city that the dining area was found laid out with a sizable spread including housemade and storebought items, the Coffee bold and plentiful while Tea and Juice were also offered and first bites focused on a loaf of housemade Rye that was sliced to preferred thickness and served either plain or toasted.||||Offering additional Rolls and Crackers plus hardboiled Eggs, Charcuterie and Spreads, the Liver rich and creamy while Kalles "Kaviar" and additional tubes of Meat define "acquired taste," it was to two flavors of liquid Yogurt that an array of Cereals and Museli were added, the Summer Berry a bit too artificially sweet while the Vanilla was good on its own and all the moreso with Raspberry Jam that apeared to be housemade compared to other flavors such as Strawberry and Orange Marmalade with labels on the bottle.||||Taking an opportunity to try traditional Pickled Herring, a one and done sort of deal at least in terms of the sort that come in a store-bought jar, it was with Pickles, Cheese and a bit more Ham that the palate was cleansed before finishing up with steamy Oats made with milk plus a crisp "Angel" Cookie that came warm from the oven with the rest packed up to go compliments of the house.Fler omdömen+12
We were in big suite room and it was totally wonderful! The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good and selection of food was great. I recommend biscuits, very delicious. Good location and beautiful crurch is near.

Fantastiskt B&B! Mysigt, rymligt och fräscht. Sköna sängar och lugnt område ger god nattsömn Fin trädgård och möjlighet att sitta ute. Bra frukost och Carola är en.trevlig vänlig värd. Mycket prisvärt, kommer åter.

Spent one night with the family in the studio. Felt like a room where you could have spent your wedding night. ☺ Fresh, well-kept and cozy. If we hadn't had to go further, I would have gladly stayed and tried the cakes.☺
Bodde på Brostugan i samband med julmarknaden på Stengård. Trevligt bemötande vid incheckning. Härligt stort och fint rum, så hemtrevligt inrett! Frukosten stod färdig i kylskåp på rummet, väldigt generöst och med allt man kan önska. Rekommenderas, högsta betyg.

Stayed at Brostugan in connection with the Christmas market at Stengård. Nice welcome at check-in. Lovely large and nice room, so homely decorated! Breakfast was ready in the fridge in the room, very generous and with everything you could wish for. Recommended, top marks.
Underbart mysigt ställe precis på andra sidan Ljusnan från Järvsö by. |Fick Ateljerummet som var perfekt för 2 vuxna och 2 barn med separata sovutrymmen. |Värdinnan Carola var välkomnande och hjälpsam. |5 minuter med bil till Järvsö backen och utsikt mot backarna. |Vi kommer tillbaka nästa sportlov. 👍|

Jättefint boende. Romantiskt inrett. Blir mysigt, inte avskalat som på hotell. Ordnade så fin egen frukost till oss. Perfekt för mig och mamma som var på konsert nästgårds. Finns även en toppenrestaurang bredvid, Lanthandeln.

Vi sov en natt i dubbelrum och allt var superfräscht och fint. Det enda lilla är att sängarna börjar bli lite nerlegade, men omgivningen, frukosten och ägarna vägde upp det. Så är vi i omgivningarna så kommer vi helt klart tillbaka.

We slept one night in a double room and everything was super fresh and nice. The only small thing is that the beds are starting to get a little worn out, but the surroundings, the breakfast and the owners made up for it. So if we are in the area we will definitely come back.
